DUKI WYSIWYG WIKI

Welcome back, apologies for the site being down for a while due to sourceforge's mysql migration.

* wysiwyg editing
* site admin backup facility
* printer-friendly version
* Security by html parsing and stripping where necessary.

Security

Especially the last point deserves some attention. Security is a major issue when developing a html wiki engine. It'll be tough, but not impossible, to make html secure.
Although there are no issues at all on the server side, there may be client side issues. From stealing cookies to scriptkiddies inserting malicious javascript or html code to exploit vulnerable browsers.
However, html editing has lots of advantages above traditional wiki systems,like a more flexible lay-outing and an unbeaten 'edit-and-type' functionality that avoids the need to learn specific wiki syntax.

Developers

Duki are:
rene - php / mysql developer
martijn - html / javascript developer

Credits

Many thanx to the guy from dynarch for creating htmlarea. since martijn is still busy modifying his wysiwyg editor to be IE compatible (mozilla part already done), we will use htmlarea at current state, which does a fine job.

===============
It looks very promissing indeed - just the right mixture of user friendliness and flexibility. However I created a new page called Sandbox and don't seem to be able to view it in the Contents. You may wish to fix this.

I'm willing to beta test Duki. Drop me a mail on karin at abv.bg

A. the navigation module has still to be build, the navigation you see is the navigation of the page currently being displayed. suggestions welcome.
